Louis Levy

Lou is Of Counsel at Symbus. He manages domestic and international trademark portfolios for clients in a wide range of industry sectors, focusing on trademark prosecution, clearance, counseling, enforcement and licensing. He also advises on copyright clearance, prosecution and enforcement. Lou is also former head of INTA’s Panel of Trademark Mediators and has served as mediator for the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, District Court of Maryland, Montgomery County (MD) State’s Attorney’s Office and Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection.

Something Personal: Lou was raised in Kearny, NJ, which appeared in the opening sequence of the HBO series The Sopranos. He plays jazz piano and paints (strictly as an amateur).
