Michele Liu Baillie, JD, is a registered patent attorney with an electrical engineering back- ground. Her practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, infringement and validity opinions, and U.S. and foreign patent portfolio strategy and management. Areas of experience include network and e-commerce applications, software applications, database systems, mobile technology, graphical user interfaces, digital circuitry, and business methods. She has extensive experience working with Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized companies, startups, and individual inventors in the U.S. and abroad, including Silicon Valley and New England.

 

Ms. Baillie was previously a partner at Sawyer Law Group, LLP, in Palo Alto, California. She is an active member of Massachusetts' North Shore Technology Council and the Boston Patent Law Association. She is also an active member of the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts, where she serves as a Board Member and a co-chair of the North Shore Committee. In her free time, she is an avid ceramicist and enjoys cooking.
